The homeowners wanted their formal dining room to feel brighter, more inviting, and timeless — a space for family gatherings and entertaining that balanced sophistication with warmth. Design Approach
We began by lightening the room with a soft, neutral wall palette and layered architectural detail. Adding elegant white molding on the main feature wall created a timeless backdrop for art, while fresh drapery and clean-lined furnishings kept the space airy and approachable. The oversized oak dining table was paired with a mix of host chairs and cane-back side chairs, offering comfort and a collected feel. A vintage-inspired rug grounded the space in warm tones, while brass accents in the chandelier, candlesticks, and picture light introduced subtle elegance. Styling was approached with restraint — seasonal greenery, sculptural candlesticks, and curated wall art — creating vignettes that feel refined yet livable.
